Visit the Shelter

Visit the Store

Over 30 years ago, the idea that dogs didn’t have to wander the big sky without a home was born. From it’s beginnings as kennels on borrowed land to it’s very own shelter within the county seat of Chinook, built in 2006. That 5-kennel building still operates today as the only brick and mortar shelter in Blaine County and all of its 4,000+ square miles. The addition of The Rescue Rack thrift store in Havre, Montana supports both our rescue efforts and the idea that no matter your past, there is a second chance for all.

Whether you donate to the shelter, the store, make a purchase, share a post, or even tell a friend, every effort keeps the shelter and it’s residents alive. We are fierce in our commitment to those who ask for nothing and deserve everything. and we are blessed to do it from a tiny shelter under this big sky.

Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
