Hello Handsome! This big hunk's name is Tuvok (any Star Trek Voyager fans out there?) and he is waiting very patiently for his companion. This boy really does check off all of the boxes. He is friendly to everyone he meets - big, small, male, female - he loves everyone! As a guardian, his true calling is to find a comfortable spot and watch over his kingdom. He has done well with all of the shelter dogs, and has no reaction to cats.
Tuvok has an old injury in his front right elbow. While the nature of the injury is unknown, we do know that it went without being tended to, which has left him with a limp. Applicants should be able to take him on short walks every day. He is on a daily anti-inflammatory medication and while it is inexpensive, applicants should be aware that it is an added cost to owning the most perfect dog. Even though he is a big boy at 80 lbs, his days of guarding and long treks are over. Now he is looking for a slow paced retired life with someone (or a few someone's) who are looking for a companion.
